What is Sound Therapy?
During a sound bath or sound therapy session or by creating the vibrational frequency with our own voices, we can access the healing frequencies that our bodies need. Brainwave frequencies change bringing us into the healing alpha brainwave state. We have a unique sound signature and as we become more attuned to this we can begin to take responsibility for our own health and well being. In the west we have lost touch with the healing capacity of ancient instruments and more importantly our own voice or sound. Some people may find they have lost their voice or feel that they have no voice in their current situation. This can change with the transformational power of sound. Deeply rooted in scientific evidence and vibrational medicine we see how different frequencies of sound can effect us deeply on all levels breaking through held blocks that prevent us from healing or moving forward in our lives. This may be deep held grief or anger; we are all familiar with songs and sounds that evoke emotions and release them. Ask yourself what is your favourite sound? It may be rainfall or listening to the crackle of an open fire. You may be surprised to find that your favourite songs may be playing at the exact frequencies you need.
Below is a short Sound Session - it is 20 minutes long and can be used to facilitate both relaxation and focus. Not to be used whilst driving or operating machinery. It is a good sample of what a sound bath is like .
